Prof. Park
Boyoung obtained her Ph.D at the University of Texas at Austin under the supervision of Prof. Michael J. Krische. Her research focused on the development of new methods for transition metal catalyzed redox-triggered C-C couplings of alcohols via transfer hydrogenation with the use of batch reactor. In 2016, she joined the Buchwald group at MIT, where she worked on the flow chemistry for photochemistry. From March 2018, Boyoung has been an assistant professor at Kyung Hee University. Her major research interest is the discovery of new reactions in both batch and flow process for the practical synthesis of pharmaceuticals.
